A bay son of Swettenham Stud’s Toronado (IRE), the sire of 90 stakes performers led by six G1 winners including Masked Crusader, Mariamia and Shelby Sixtysix, this colt is the third foal out of the Listed-winning, American imported Bernardini mare Eclair.

From a strong international black type family which includes multiple stakes winners, the extended family has received two very nice updated with Salamis winning the G1 Del Mar Hollywood Derby and Segesta winning the G1 Del Mar Matriarch Stakes since the catalogue went to print.

Bernardini is the broodmare sire of 240 international stakes performers led by 21 G1 winners while this colt is bred on the exact same High Chaparral x Bernardini pedigree cross which has produced 10 winners from 16 runners led by G2 winner She’s A Hustler.

American bred mares have a very good record at producing G1 winners in Australia with some recent winners including Southport Tycoon, Treasurethe Moment, Manaal, Knights Order, Little Brose, Kukeracha, King Colorado, Wild Ruler, Russian Revolution, State Of Rest, Forbidden Love, Lighthouse, Apache Chase, Lunar Fox, Homesman, Addeybb and Vega One.
